Zahf Paroo has been working as an actor and comedian in television, film, theatre, radio and animation since 1995.

After graduating with honors from the Theatre Arts Program at Mount Royal College in Calgary, Alberta, Zahf moved to Vancouver, BC and began working on the big screen.
His roles in Stargate-SG1, Scary Movie and the reality TV show "Sketch Troop" led to him having held-over performances at the prestigious "Just for Laughs Festival".

Meanwhile, in the world of cinema and TV, Zahf guest-starred in multiple seasons of  the award winning Canadian series "Edgemont" playing the smarmy and charming role of 'Tyler'.  Shortly after, director J.B. Rogers and producers Bobby & Peter Farrely created a role for Zahf in the Fox film "Say it isn't So". They loved his work so much that they gave him the rare opportunity to improvise dialogue. Zahf also went on to surprise audiences when he was unmasked as one of the two arch-villains alongside Alicia Silverstone in Warner Bros. "Scooby Doo 2".

With several great film credits under his belt, a bucket-list opportunity came knocking that Zahf could not refuse. In 2004, he opened the original Broadway production of the musical "Bombay Dreams", produced by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, featuring music by the inspirational A.R. Rahman. Zahf's role included playing an astounding 14 characters, while singing, dancing and understudying the 2 leads in the production. "Bombay Dreams" ran for a year at the Broadway Theatre in New York with a run of 314 performances.

After an exciting year on Broadway, Zahf returned to Vancouver to shoot the ABC television series "3 Moons Over Milford" in which he played the role of antagonist 'Vijay Patek'. He continued to book roles on projects such as "Battlestar Galactica", "A Guy Thing", "Degrassi: The Next Generation", "The Big Year" and "Firewall". Audiences often recognize him the most, however, from his portrayal of 'Ajay Sharma' the sensitive and devout astronaut from the ABC series "Defying Gravity".

In the last few years, Zahf has had the pleasure of joining the television series "Fairly Legal", "Fringe", "Continuum", "Psych", "Emily Owens, M.D.", "Motive" and his favourite, a recurring role as the office douchebag 'Fitzgerald' in City TV's multi-cam comedy Package Deal". His updated demo reel also contains footage with him as the beastly, blue-skinned, four-armed witch 'Virahadra' in Legendary's "Seventh Son" alongside Julianne Moore, Jeff Bridges, Kit Harrington and Ben Barnes.

Zahf was seen as Agrabah's own horrible 'Prince Achmed' in"Once Upon a Time", as 'Hooks' in the thriller "S.W.A.T.: Under Siege", as "Gillen" in multiple episodes of SyFy's "The Magicians", and in a few very fun Hallmark Christmas movies including "A Godwinks Christmas, Second Chance First Love" and "A Timeless Christmas".

Finally, for those of you with streaming services, you can see him as "Curtis" in Netflix's futuristic thriller "Altered Carbon" and as "Thorton Pavey" in Netflix's MALIBU RESCUE!
